Question Is the Asus Tuf RTX 4090 OC good ?

Current specs
CPU: Ryzen 5950X
GPU: RTX 2080 Ti
RAM: 128GB
PSU: Evga 1000 G+
Corsair cooler (forgot type)
2tb x2 M.2 gen 4 ssd
X 6 2tb ssd

Intended GPU upgrade: Asus Tuf RTX 4090 OC

I do rendering 3d max. C4d blender, no gaming.
Will I see difference in speed ?
Will it simulate fast or render ?

It would be a rather large bump up in performance, you would be going from 11gb vram to 24gb alone. The only caveat would be that the 5950x may not be the best cpu to pair with it for best results.

One other thing I forgot to mention, fast and render use the cpu and gpu at the same time, to answer your last original question. I don't think you would have to go the Thread Ripper route . A 7960X would cost you three times the amount as the 7950x with only 50 percent more performance. I believe, the 7950x would pair nicely with a 4090 for your work
