Is the Blue Snowball a good microphone for gaming?

Title says it all. I wanted to pair a blue snowball with stereo headphones or earphones for youtube and gaming. Does the snowball work with in-game chat and teamspeak /Skype? If so is there anything else I need to know about the Blue Snowball?

A good friend of mine just bought one. Yes it works with any program you want. Its usb. It sounds great. Well at least better than cheapo desk mics or any headset mic you care to name. Its good. its very popular and thats probably an indication that people like it......
