All the Corsair CPU coolers will be fine as long as they fit your motherboard's socket type. All have good performance as well. The H80i is one I personally have in my first build, but I just installed a H110 into my sister's PC and there is nothing wrong with it. Go for the one that fits you application and case. They CM Hyper 212 EVO is a good standard air cooler that fits any budget. If you want a liquid cooler to free up space and remove heat as soon as possible then the Corsair CPU coolers will be fine.
"Remove heat as soon as possible"? I don't think you even know what you're talking about.
Corsair liquid coolers cost too much for what they produce. Period. The only ones that deliver in a bang for the buck kind of way are the H80i, H105, H100i and H110 and the new GT versions.
Get a Hyper 212. Seriously.
Instead of attacking my comment and myself, you should have more respect for others. YOUR opinion is that they suck and that you wouldn't spend money on it. Look into any water cooling solution and the heat will be removed from the CPU itself faster than if air was doing it. Obviously a custom loop would be more efficient, but just because you have problems with the product you might've had doesn't mean they all suck. And to add on, you attacked my comment and then supported the products I recommended all in the same post. So, please get your thoughts straight before you make any more comments.
1) I am an A+ certified technician. You clearly are not. I think I'm right.
2) Air/water do not remove heat any faster or slower. There are air heatsinks that keep the cpu cooler than the H55. Explain that?
3) It is not that I have had issues with the products, it is that their performance is a KNOWN VALUE and it SUCKS. The only corsair AIOs worth a G.D. are the ones I listed.
We are not talking about a your mileage may vary product like a car tyre here. We're talking about a CPU cooler.
