Is the Corsair vs 550w enough to power my GTX 1070 ?

I am thinking of buying a psu. Is the Corsair vs 550w enough or should I go with the 650w?

550W is enough however the VS is rather poor. Get at least a Corsair CX550M or TX550M if you want to stay with Corsair.

You really need to be looking at better quality units.

Depends on the actual unit.

The new ones are ok, the ones with the Grey Label, the Green labeled ones are garbage.

Would recommend the TX550M though, the CX is more of a budget PSU, however it will work.
