Is the evga gtx 980 ti Superclocked ACX 2.0+ better than the regular gtx 980 ti.

The title says it all. Is the evga gtx 980 ti Superclocked ACX 2.0+ better than the regular gtx 980 ti. If so, how? It doesn't make any sense to me that a company would buy someone else's card to add stuff and then just sell it at the same price.

Yes it is. EVGA > Reference. It comes with a higher clock on the core and memory.

Its clocked higher so its pre overclocked for better perfomance

i own one! (See signature). it is just a better quality chip that they selected and have heavily tested. every chip is different. some overclock higher/lower than others. with superclocked, they overclocked it at the factory and made sure it can handle the higher clock speeds. takes out the process of you overclocking it. still some headroom to overclock more. they are worth it in my opinion. its something like 20 extra bux for saving 5+ hours of finding a 100% stable overclock and it weeds out the chips that didnt handle it well.

how about the acx 2.0 part? does that really cool better than the stock cooler?
