Just like the thread title says, is it a good board? Any known issues I should be aware of? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like the VRM cooling area's material is a little different and they added a USB3.2 Type-C front panel connector header on the V2.

A month ago i build a pc with the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite V2 (not the Pro) and it's fantastic, really !! The only issue i had it was some lan disconnections the first days but after i installed the 10.050.0511.2021 drivers from the gigabyte site the disconnections are gone. That it's not motherboards fault but it's realtek's 2.5Gbe adater fault. Many mobos (not only gigabyte) with this adapter have/had this problem. But as i said with the 10.050 drivers it's all good now. xmp works fine, tpm2 and secure boot too !! It's worth it !!

I went ahead and bought the board yesterday along with a Ryzen 5600x processor, a Noctua NH-U12S heatsink, 32 gigs (two 16 gig sticks) of G.SKILL ripjaws DDR4 3200 memory, and a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB SSD drive. It's going into an old school Cooler Master Haf X 942 full tower case with a Seasonic 850 watt modular PSU. I also have two 3TB Seagate SATA drives for it that will be used for storage. OS will be Windows 10 pro. Future plans for it are to up the RAM to 64 gigs and add a second Samsung SSD drive. This is the first computer I've built in almost 20 years, I'm really looking forward to getting it up and running!
