Late last week I was asking about the R9 280X or the GTX 770. I am now leaning towards the GTX 770. What I wanted to know is, is the GTX 770 good enough to play todays games at 1920X1080 on dual monitors at highest settings?
Yea it is but if I'm going to do that my feeling is I want to do it right. It is something I would like to do but money wise I can't do it right now. For single monitor though at 1920 or higher the 770 I'm guessing should be able to handle all games at the highest graphics settings?
Yes, if you're playing in 1080p, buy a 2GB 770 and you will be fine

For dual 1080p monitors, I recommend you to get the 4GB version of that card
just a side note, are you sure you want dual screen, as the split will be in the middle, so you can't see the target for most FPS games. You really need 3 screens.
