I dont think I will be able to afford the 60-80$ extra from the gtx 970 so I have to go with the 770 or something else within the 770 price range that doesnt exceed 20-30$. I'm really in a tight budget

Yes it's worth it. Big difference at 1080p+. Just make sure your PSU can handle the upgrade and that your CPU will not bottleneck the 770.

Yes I do have a 750w psu with i7 3770k. do you think I should wait 1 month to get the 970 or just buy the 770

Which 750W PSU? Your i7 is solid.

What price are you getting the 770 at?

I believe it's corsair 100% sure it's 750w + (80) ? idk the + 80 I'm pretty sure if it can handle my card (which is bad but still a dedicated card) (Hd 7770) it will handle the gtx 770 since its only a few watts difference around 260 or 270

No go. Another member had a different Ultra PSU that failed on him recently after a while of use. Luckily his system wasn't damaged.

That PSU is Tier V in the PSU Tier List (check my sig) and is not recommended for any systems, much less gaming systems.

If you're getting the 770 I would invest in a decent 600W+ PSU. If you get the GTX 970 a quality 550W PSU would work.

This Rosewill Capstone 750W PSU is on sale for a good price and comes with a $20 rebate.
