Is it any good? Also, I heard its memory bandwidth and memory interface width are quite less compared to a GTX 660(I own a GTX 660) and I would like to ask if these two factors affect the GPU's overall performance in any way.
nope it will barely be a upgrade, a gtx 970 is worth getting more than that crap gtx 960 it would be good if it was priced lower and or had more memory but it doesn't making it a not smart buy the lower power usage a advantage though i must say compared to a 760 or 660
Is an upgrade from the 660 to the 760 a good one? Like, will there be a good amount of difference in performance?
i suggest you do a upgrade to a 970 a 760 isn't really a big upgrade the 960 beats it too but not by alot, the fps is gonna be around the same still the 970 is gonna be the game changer here
I will probably struggle with games like Batman Arkham Knight and Witcher III. I know for a fact that I won't struggle with GTA V.
well now will be a good time to get a 970 because the witcher 3 is free with any gtx 960 970 and 980 gpu and the gpu will run gta 5 but no one knows if it is optimized good enough to run at 1080p med settings because it looks like that gpu can handle that
I was in the same boat. Almost bought a 960, but 970 is superior so i went with a 970. Money was a factor too. My gtx 560ti 1gb lasted me 4 four years and still runs bf4 med/high at 1680x1050.
Just look at some benchmarks it will help you overcome the price
Bought new monitor as well to take advantage of card.
For $329 you can get evga gtx 970 ftw with free shipping on newegg.
