is the I3 4370 good?

I've recently just saw an i3 which I've never heard of or seen before the I3 4370. I'm building a budget PC build with MSI GTX 960. I was originally going to get i5 4460 however I'm purchasing windows also so that's out of mind. Does the i3 4370 perform well?

Is the i3 4170 good though? I have an MSI H97 so I can upgrade in the future...

I wouldn't get either, but instead would get a 6th generation CPU, at least if you live in the US. Pricing may be different in other parts of the world, but the i3 6100 and i5 6500 are easily the best budget chips to buy for anyone living in the 'states.

I have all my components already aside from CPU... so I can't as I have MSI H97 1150 and ddr3...

The i3 would have 10% higher clockspeed against a turbo'd i5, but the i5 will still be faster in a majority of cases.
