Is the i5 3570K with a good video card still more than enough for AAA games?

When I say a good video card I'm talking about something like a GTX 1060 6GB or even something a step back like a GTX 960ti. It seems enough of a cpu if combined with such gpu's to handle AAA games at will.

Do you agree?

It depends on what you want to play. If you're playing the latest Assassin's Creed games or 64 player Battlefield, then any 4 thread CPU is already insufficient unless you are happy with locking to 30FPS. If you're playing less CPU intensive games, it's still serviceable, but still not a great choice if you plan on chasing really high framerates for a 144Hz monitor.
