Is the i5 6500 worth it?

In a system with:
8gb 2133mhz ddr4 Kingston hyper x fury ram
Rx 480 4gb (when it comes out)
240gb crucial Bx200 ssd

What would the performance difference be with the i3 6320 and the i5 6500 in games like minecraft and also arma 3 and cities skyline?

I'd go with i5 6500 because it has 4 Core compare to i3 6320 that has 2 cores , in many situations the number of cores would help the process to speed up . and the i5 6500 supports ECC memories that i3 6320 doesn't. and the i5 6500 has 6MB of cache while i3 6320 has 4MB of smart cache , for a 40$ difference i can say i5 6500 is better.

Minecraft..... I3 vs I5 you wont notice a difference it only uses 2 Cores.
Arma 3... Will utilize 4 cores and when maxed and in a area heavy with other players you will notice a difference over a I3
Cities Skyline... Supports Mutli Core use as well I have never played it so I don't know how demanding it will be when a I3 is compared to a I5.

AAA Titles that have true Multi Core support will run much more fluid on a I5.

i3 6100 is a great CPU, but if you're playing big-budget games, the i5 will show some improvement. It might be largely academic though, as the i3 6100 is already a very fast CPU.
