Is the i5 8600k + GTX 1070 + DDR4 2400mhz good enough for 144hz 1080p gaming?

I'm curious whether or not this build will be able to generally hold above the 100fps mark in order to utilize the 144hz monitor. Or should i opt for a 75hz 1080p monitor?

Also would RAM speed make a noticeable difference in this case? Or just a couple of fps?

higher refresh rate is in general better.
For 1070, 144hz is more recommended.

RAM speed has the lowest impact on games compared to processor and gpu.
You will notice max 1-2 fps more or less with having faster or slower RAM.
The main thing for RAM is to have at least enough capacity.
