[SOLVED] Is the i5 9400F compatible with my motherboard?

I am looking to upgrade and the motherboard Im looking at is the Asus Prime B360M-A mATX Motherboard. Will the i5 9400F work on this motherboard?

According to the CPU support page for your motherboard, the i5 9400F 6C rev. U0 is supported from BIOS version 1405 and up, and the 9400F 6C rev. R0 is supported from BIOS version 2201 and up.

So if you update your motherboard to the most current BIOS version, you should be able to use any 9400F

Yes, but depends on the BIOS and your CPU revision. If you have, latest bios, you should be fine, no matter the cpu revision.
