Yes, they will work together with no problems. The GPU only depends on what CPU and PSU you have, not the motherboard. What are the specs of your PC?

You're good to go! That is a very good PC you have there . Try to get the 390 if you can; it runs a bit cooler and draws less power.

Thanks so much, and I noticed that the gpu needs at least 750W to run according to the specs on new egg, so I'll be upgrading that too.

Reccommended PSUs are usually way over requred. For the 290, a 550-600W PSU is reccommended.

With your 620W PSU, you'll be able to OC the card by a substancial amount as well.
