[SOLVED] is the MSI Optix MAG241C (144Hz, 1080p) a good monitor to pair with a RTX 2070S?

Hello, I've built my first rig today. I had a monitor already, but when I connected it I discovered it was bust.
I can't spend more than 300€.
I wanted to game on this PC mostly, and I had to work on it too. would that monitor be a good fit? do you have any tips/suggestions for other monitors?

Its good monitor i recently changed it for a 1440p one. For a RTX 2070S no. Get a 1440p/144hz one. I can find AOC CQ27G2U , AOC Q27G2U for 299 and 295 euros.

Thank you, but is it really that bad? would it make the GPU unusable or simply overkill?
This is a temporary solution, nothing permanent.

I don’t see any problem running a 2070S with a 1080p 144Hz monitor.
