Haha, just checked out what it said on tigerdirect. They dun fooled you.

Yes it's not fit for gaming at all but on some systems it runs UNexpectedly well ( YouTube latest games on this card) while on some it has over heating problems... anyways how did it work?

I have a ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 Slient Card and it is very useful at most times when video cards are about to die. They are purposely meant to give your PC a very long lifespan so it would survive for about 2 or more years.

I bought this card today, because my ATI Radeon HD 5570 die with lots of blue screens so i couldn't use my PC that much and i had no money to replace it so i got a slient card that would help my computer lived until i get enough money to buy a new one. Truthfully, You can't play games with it but you can stream videos at that highest frame rate. That's the benefits of having a slient cards.

I recently bought a PC with specs from '05 to replace my even older PC with specs from '01, and I got a plain PCI (my PC doesn't have any PCIe slots) version of this card to do some casual gaming and some 3D modeling. This card got a 26,000 on AquaMark3, which is roughly equivalent to the onboard graphics of a modern non-gaming laptop in my experience. I never had any interest or expectations of playing newer games. Older games cost less and haven't gotten any less fun (especially since I've never had the chance to do any kind of gaming beyond crappy flash games and runescape before) so I thought that this would be a good card for me. I'm able to play games like Half-Life 2, Far Cry, Halo: Combat Evolved, and Fable: The Lost Chapters on full details without any noticeable artifacts or lagging, which is a huge improvement over the onboard graphics. I had a small problem with Far Cry BSODing when I loaded a save file, but that was because I hadn't applied all the patches. Once I applied the 1.4 patch, it worked fine. One thing you might want to keep an eye out for is overheating. I zip tied a large ~120mm fan I cannibalized from a computer that used to run Windows ME onto this graphics card and it never goes above 44C now, and idles at 37C. My copy also came with a tool to overclock the card, which hasn't made a noticeable difference except on benchmarks and rendering 3d models with blender.

It is good card.. I also have.. Its run all new heavy games but some games works in low setting.. Recently I install far cry 4 and its run very nice at low or medium settings..
