Is the pg278q still worth buying?

Someone is selling two pg278q for $700 and I was wondering if I should just buy these instead of trying to find a Pg279q in Stock. Is tn really as bad as people would lead you to believe? I'm not going to be doing photo editing or anything like that they would just be used for gaming and watching netflix.

Yes, TN is really as bad as people say. For entertainment mainly, games and TV shows/movies, then buy a VA monitor. List what features you're after, and I'll find one for you.

I'm looking for 144hz, g-sync, and 1440p. I've looked at the xb270hu but it's sold out and usually the build quality of acer monitors isn't the greatest.

Yeah, not a lot of options with those specs. I believe the XB270HU is the cheapest out of them.

My current monitor is just 1080p 60hz from a pre-built so I could probably live with TN
