A couple days ago I heard a slight pop and I lost video and audio on my rig which made it seem like it had completely shut off. I describe it like this because I looked down and my computer still appeared to be running (lights/fan sounds). I restarted it and it continued running as such; lights, fan sounds, no A/V.
I tried a different outlet, different gpu, different motherboard, nothing. And I don't have a speaker on the motherboard so I don't know any error codes it could be letting off.
I came here and was recommended a new psu which didn't work. I didn't notice before because the fan lights are red but the CPU light is showing on the newer mobo, so I'm guessing I was correct in my assumption before that the problem is the CPU. I checked the "list" and did everything proposed to no benefit. Am I getting a new CPU or could the problem possibly lie in the ssd?
