Is the RTX 2060 compatible with the MSI B250M PRO-VD motherboard ?

I was looking to upgrade from a 1050 Ti to an RTX 2060

MoBo isn't the issue. What is the issue, is PSU. Since you'd be going from 75W GPU to 160W GPU.

Speaking of PSU; make and model (or part number) is? Also, how old the PSU is and was it bought new or used/refurbished?

The PSU is ELP 500 S

I bought the pc used so i dont really know if it was refurbished or new.

And for clarification i was looking to buy the 2060 so im making sure it would be compatitable.

That's a very poor quality PSU. You MUST upgrade your current PSU model if you want to use the RTX 2060. As a matter of fact, I won't recommend using this Chieftec PSU on any gaming PC.

For iGPU systems that PSU might work, but not on discrete GPUs. Please get a HIGH quality power supply.

Yeah, low quality PSU and borderline terrible. I wouldn't use it even in office PC. Perhaps only as paperweight or doorstop.

With RTX 2060, add new PSU to it as well. Else-ways, RTX 2060 will not happen.

Good PSUs to go for are Seasonic Focus/PRIME series or Corsair RMi/RMx/HX/HXi/AX/AXi.
