Hello, I come to see if you can help me clarify some doubts about the audio of this motherboard, ASUS B550 PLUS TUF GAMING, I bought it new very recently, and I was surprised to see how low the volume of the microphone is heard, and Besides that, it has a static or noise sound that is not normal, and it is not from my environment, it is the same microphone that I used with my previous motherboard (Gigabyte 970A-UD3P) and it sounds very good. Now the only way to hear it at a more or less correct volume is to turn it up to + 30db, but the background noise becomes unbearable. I've been to a friend's house who has another version of this motherboard (TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS) and it sounds exactly the same as mine.

I have tried various drivers, formatting the pc, using the IA Noise software that comes with it and I have not been able to fix the problem. And I did not find anyone who happens something similar.

Sorry if I don't pronounce correctly.

For the Tuf Gaming Mobos, every single one I have ever bought(2, to be exact), have always had the worst quality headset inputs ever. There is no audio shielding on their sound card at all so my headset and mic would pic up insane fan noise when I talked in chats. On top of that, the capacitors around the CPU are never put in right or they are built bad, because those things give off insane coil whine if you're playing a CPU intense game. Both times I returned the Tuf motherboard and got Rog Strixs. The Rog Strix may be much more expensive than a Tuf, but the quality is amazing. The sound is always perfect(I have had 2, and I had to build my friend's PCs so that is 2 more. 4 in total of perfect Asus Rog Strixs). You can bypass this bad audio quality of the Tuf if you buy a USB DAC. However, that won't fix the coil whine. It is really loud.
