Just wondering if I can get away with not using the cable, I've been using it for the past 7 months or so and when I swap my rig to a new case I would prefer to not have to have it there since it's kind of hard to make look good. I can use bios to control all my fans (I do now) I just am wanting to know if bypassing the USB entirely will cause any issues? The pump is already configured to run in performance mode, that's my only real concern. I don't care either way about Corsair Link, but it would be nice to not have to use that cable anymore. Or if it was in a better spot NOT on the bottom of the water block.. some insight is appreciated, thanks for looking!

You do not need this USB cable to be connected, all this connection does is make it possible to control things like colours and whatever else you use corsair link for. If you wish not to have the USB connected, then you would just lose the ability to use the corsair link software to communicate with the cooling unit.
