I have an acer v3-572 and i bought a cheap 9.0mm drive caddy at a local store so ican mount an ssd in it. i cant stand 5400RPM.
This plastic p.o.s. broke and got stuck in my laptop and was very difficult to get out. So difficult i had to bend my ssd's pins to get it out, and use a screwdriver to straight them back. luckily the ssd still works. I've been on amazon and the 9.0MM i bought costs 4dollars. But the Good looking ones that actually looks like they are good quality that are around 10dollars, their description says 9.5MM.

Now is there a difference between 9.0MM and 9.5MM caddy?

Solution
SSD's are generally 7mm. I've never heard of a 9mm drive, only 9.5.
7mm, 9.5mm, 15mm for the big ones.

Some SSD's come with a spacer, to mesh with a 9.5mm mount bay.
