its ddr2 so you can go up to 4 GB of ram.
no reason to install more as it will be to slow to benefit from it

You'd be limited by the board so it's most likely 4-8GB. You'd be better off buying a i7-2600 dell off ebay for $120. That CPU is older than the hills.
