Is there a noticable difference between a 16mb cache hard drive and a 64mb cache hard drive?

Hey everyone! I have been wondering what the difference between the Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB SATA III 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache and the Western Digital WD1002FAEX Caviar Black 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache hard drives were. Is there a noticeable difference between a 7200 rpm hard drive with 16mb cache and a 7200 rpm hard drive with 64mb cache? If you're wondering what programs I would be running these on I will mainly be gaming and copying files.

The "Black" will have a slight performance advantage over the "Blue", but the difference won't be night and day. As jnkweaver already mentioned the main difference would be the warranty. And also the fact that the model you are comparing aren't the same size, you get twice more space with the black.

My main question here is would it be better to spend $58 on the caviar blue or spend an extra $32 on the caviar black?

I see, Well for space wise I really wouldn't need more than 500GB of disk space. Right now i only have 300GB of disk space and I still get about 130GB free for what i am doing. But say I only needed a 2 year warranty would you recommend that I go with the caviar blue? Thank you for your time by the way.
