Is there a running app that will tell you where to turn on a preferred route?

I use map my run but I am going out of town and my map is unfamiliar to me! It would be nice if the app would tell me where to go on my route

Googlemaps or Scout (just to name 2) on your phone.

Can you tell me how to map a route and while I am running tell me where my mapped route goes?
