I have a Chromebook with a hacked BIOS. Somebody said they'd buy it for $300 if I can get Windows on it. It's more of a bet at this point. I tried installing Vista but Windows relies on ACPI features that the Chromebook's current bios does not support. Are there any versions of Windows that do not rely on ACPI so heavily? I get the whole "your computer's bios does not support acpi functions necessary to run Windows" BSOD when trying to install. I have not tried 10 yet. Anybody have any clue?
