I know that 30 fps vs 60 fps theres a huge difference but as I am gaming on a 60 hz tv I am not capable of seeing more than that.
Does worth to change my tv / monitor for a 120 hz one or I wouldn't see any difference?

Thanks

There were much larger CRT displays than that, at least for TVs. It could have gone farther and even quite thin if we cared to do so. However, it probably would have still been more expensive than LCD manufacturers, so the companies in charge said NO.

In terms of just visuals only, which is what you are talking about, then there may not be a very noticeable difference, though there is some subtle differences. However, if you are playing a game with a sensitive input device like the mouse (controllers are not so sensitive), you can notice the delay between moving the mouse and it updating on the screen, and feel it getting better all the way up to 120 FPS, if not higher.

Think of it like this.. Everybody is different, they have different eyes and everybody has their opinions. I hear that people can only see up to 60fps, 76, or 120, its basically a false topic, as everybody is different.

during the old CRT (120hz) days there's a massive difference between playing @ 99fps constant as oppose to an fps that's fluctuating. your mouse feels different, too.

There are also game engines where in you can do certain stuffs (super jump, bunny hop) easier at higher fps.
