Hi guys

As you might know some apps and games are automatically blocked when device is connected to smartphone's mobile hotspot network.
Example: World of Warcraft won't update through Battle.net client if computer is connect to mobile hotspot. But starts updating normally if connected to standard wireless network from the router.

At my work I need to connect Apple TV and play a specific streaming service app. The problem is that it's one of those cases where the app streams only when connected to standard home Wi-Fi. And gives an error message when connected to mobile hotspot. Other apps like Netflix work fine. It seems to be a software lock to stop app from streaming if connected to mobile hotspot.

My question: is there a way to turn mobile hotspot into a proper home wireless network? Or mask it as such? So that connected devices would think they are connected to proper fibre broadband rather than 4G connection?

Thanks
