Is there a way to connect a Thunderbolt device to an eSata port on computer? In this case it's an audio interface with only a thunderbolt connection, and my hp dv7t laptop's fastest port is the eSata. Can't find an answer anywhere, would really appreciate some help! Thanks.

**edit**
To clarify the 'audio interface' is an A/D D/A converter, it's only interaction with the computer is digital (no analog audio flow). Before TB they typically all connected via Firewire or USB.

I've seen the thunderbolt (computer port) >> esata hubs (i.e. LaCie), but can't find anything 'in the opposite direction'.

This is a Thunderbolt -? Firewire adapter. http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Thunderbolt-to-FireWire-Adapter/dp/B008RXYOKY/

Depending on your laptop you may have a FIrewire port, or you can get a card with Firewire. Something like this. http://www.amazon.com/Best-Connectivity-ExpressCard-Controller-SD-EXP30012/dp/B003GAM68U

I think that's the best solution if you absolutely *must* connect that device to your laptop.
