I am looking for a new graphic card for my HP Compaq 6300 SFF computer and I want to know if there was a place that could tell me if the card will work for what I need. When I got this computer I thought it would work but I guess the card is not good enough

I'm not sure how anyone here can help you to make sure something actually works or not. You'll have to take it to a local PC shop if you want a definitive answer. You have a "half-height" slot available (some places call it "low profile"). You need to buy a card that fits that description.

FYI: your power supply is only 240w

I have already know that the part will work with what computer I have that is not the issue at all. My issue is that I brought the computer thinking this will work for NHRA Drag Racing Game meet everything so I brought it install the game and get not responding at points when I try to play the game. That is what I am trying to get to not happen again because then I will be out more money

Yes, you definetely need a low profile video card that doesn't use alot of power. In your picture, the card would plug into the lowest, longest black slot at the bottom.

Something like a GTX 1030 or 1050 would work.

What are you trying to accomplish with your PC?

Just forget it I am too stupid I will just deal with the not responding errors have been for over a year
Don't be discouraged. Either one of these 2 cards will work with your system:

GTX 1030: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...tx 1030&cm_re=gtx_1030-_-14-487-347-_-Product

GTX 1050: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...tx 1050&cm_re=gtx_1050-_-14-932-063-_-Product

They are very easy to install. If you need help you can watch a You Tube video on how to do it or you could take it to a PC repair shop (like Best Buy) and have them do it for you.
