Is there a way to give more power to graphics card?

Hi, recently my computer started lagging and my fps drops randomly, even though my computer should be able to run pretty much all games without trouble. I asked reddit, and a guy told me that my graphics card or GPU isn't getting enough power from my PSU, and that the only solution would be to buy new parts, but recomended that i ask someone with better knowledge for a better answer .. So is there a program of some sort that can help me do this? Because i really cannot afford new parts.. And the sudden fps drops just started completly randomly while i was playing a game.. My computer wasn't touched when it happened

So what's the specs? That'll help as some cards do not need the extra watts.

I see a problem with the PSU; it isn't high quality. Change that to a SeaSonic S12II if you have enough budget.

Can you give a little more info? Whats the proplem with my current PSU? Why that one? And how come it has worked untill now? Thx in advance

It appears to be tier 3 which is not great, but not junk. Theres a lot of hate on these boards for CoolerMaster tho... PSUs do deteriorate and can go bad over time. Probably worth borrowing one for testing.

So you're saying i just got a bad PSU? and getting a new one will fix my problem? And since i don't know anything about PSUs can you link one that would work for my build? I am not planning to upgrade, so just enough power to support what i currently got.. And im on a really low budget, so a not so expensive one would be appreciated.. I live in Denmark

Before that tho, have you checked cpu and gpu temps under load? Cleaned the heatsinks with compressed air?

I like using OCCT (free) to stress test and look at temps and voltages. Try that before buying anything as you might be able to see if somethings amiss on the psu if some of the readings are low.

I downloaded the program,OOCT and ran a PSU test, and i am left with alot of images now that the test is done, but since i now little of whats good and whats bad, think i can link some of the images to you and you could determine if somethings wrong? Just tell me what images you need. this would help me alot

The +12v rail is a big one. Also need to run the cpu and gpu tests and observe temps and effects on power.

Those numbers all look reasonable to me, except the temperatures and they're only a little warm. Not sure if it's enough to throttle and cause lag.

Have you tried completely removing the gpu driver and reinstalling? Might be something simple like that.

Could also run memtest overnight to see if you have any memory errors.
