Is there a way to increase storage slots in pc case?

Hey tech geeks I have a compaq CQ3455IX pc and I have WD caviar blue 500gb hdd installed in it and I wanted to install a 120 gb ssd to make my PC faster but then I saw it only have one storage slot in which my hdd is located presently and suggestions that how can I add a ssd in my pc with my hdd at same time ...

Just put your SSD anywhere. It doesn't need to be mounted on something. You can even tape it onto the case if you want or just let it sit anywhere.


Like really I thought it will vibrate or something ...thanks mate for such a fast reply ..
 

Unless you are violently shaking the case, the SSD will be fine. It has no moving parts inside so a little vibration or if you happen to kick your case once in a while won't harm it.
 

No my pc just stays under my desk never moves so there will be very less chances of it being moved vigorously and I will tape it .
 

Then you can just let it sit somewhere. No tape needed. Tape adhesives tend to melt and get very messy after long period of time so cleaning would be a pain. You can try more heat-resistant tape, but it's not necessary.

Frankly, that's what a lot of people do anyway. Just slide the SSD into any slot where it fits and leave it there.
 

I think I will be doing the same too just sliding it in and close the case.
