Is there a way to program the buttons on my Logitech G402 gaming mouse to change my PC's volume?

Basically I want to program one button to increase the volume and one button to decrease the volume. On my Red dragon MMO mouse that was super easy because all the macros were already designed for you but the Logitech G402 doesn't have all those macros. Is there any way to program this? I can't get Auto-Hotkey to work for some reason otherwise I would already.

Yes.

Using Logitech's software click on the little arrow next to the button you want to change and choose "Edit". In there you'll see the option for volume up and down.

That's not what I wanted to do. That is for the DPI adjustment not the volume adjustment. I don't want to change the DPI just the volume. However, I found an auto hotkey script to change the volume on my keyboard so I don't need to do it on my mouse anymore.

Maybe it depends on what mouse you have because in my settings I actually have the option for volume up and down

Oh that's strange. I have the Logitech G402 but for some reason the software didn't have the option to adjust the volume. Weird.
