Is there a way to reinstall IE10?

hi,
my comp crashed due to power surge which runs on windows 8 basic. so since recently IE 10 started act funny, specially when I debug ASP NET applications from VS 2012 using IE 10 where it takes almost a minute to load a simple asp .net page. but when I debug asp .net with chrome (I use the incognito mode) it works on regular speed. So the problem is my IE 10 . Is there way to reinstall ( a clean reinstall) IE 10 ?
so far I have tried reset and disabling add-on nothing seemed to work and I don't believe in the show/hide option of IE 10 through programs and features and it does nothing but BS.

Go to Windows Update, in the left side of the windows you will see "installed updates", head to that.
Here you can see all updates of windows update.
Scroll down until you find Internet explorer 10, right click it and remove.
Your internet explorer will be downgraded to internet explorer 9.
After that, you will be able to reinstall Internet Explorer 10 again.

That how I am doing it, on this University, if employees has problems with the newest IE version.

hmm IE 10 is not an update, it came with the Original windows 8 basic edition which came with laptop I believe its OEM and I don't even have the OS DVD its in my laptop in a hidden partition, as you know most laptop manufacturers ship laptop like that these days. FYI mine is ASUS S46C with windows 8 basic edition.

So I do I do a clean reinstall of IE 10? (without reinstalling the OS from windows 8's RESET option)

I just read on microsoft forum, and found this answer:

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer 10 from a Windows 8 computer, and revert back to Internet Explorer 9. If you upgraded from IE 9 to IE 10, and if you have a Windows 7 computer, reverting back is possible, by removing the upgrade, but in your case, those things don't apply.

Internet Explorer 10 is a feature of the Windows 8 operating system. It is not a program, like Word, Excel, etc. that can be installed/uninstalled separately. That's why you don't see it in your Programs list, and that's why you won't be able to download it from anywhere. You can, however, disable it and install another browser of your choosing (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc).

To disable Internet Explorer 10:

At the METRO (Start) screen type features (there is no box to type it into....just type)
You wont see anything, until you select "Settings" from the side menu

Select "Turn Windows features on or off
You will get a message "Do you want to allow, etc............YES
UNCHECK the box next to Internet Explorer 10
OK
restart your computer for the change to take effect.

Internet Explorer 10 is now disabled (don't confuse this with uninstalled). There will be no IE icon on your Desktop taskbar, and no Start screen tile. If you decide you want it back, because the other browser you installed is disappointing, just turn it back on again by reversing the procedure.

so "Zmokamok" are you suggesting the only way is to reinstall windows? because that disable thing is BS and it does not reset any crashed files of IE 10

Before you reinstall try this
If it didn't help to disable add-ons, try to boot up in a Clean boot to see if possibly if its a 3rd party issue.

From the desktop:
Press the Windows key +R
In the Run box type msconfig and hit enter
Under the Services tab, place a check in Hide all Microsoft services and hit Disable all
Under the Startup tab click Open Task Manager
Under the Startup tab right-click and disable each Startup item and then close Task Manager
Click Apply/OK on System Configuration screen then restart


*REMEMBER* Once you have completed the test, be sure to set your computer back to a normal boot. *REMEMBER*

If it still doesn't help, then I guess you should try to reinstall.

If the post above does not work, then try this instead.

Open IE 10 (yes wait the 2+ minutes)
Press Alt (and release) so that you get the tool bar up
Tools -> Internet Options
Select Connections Tab
Click On “Lan Settings”
Un select “Automatically Detect Settings”
