Is there a way to run a .tar.md5 on a VirtualBox or something like that?

Hey everyone,
I have a firmware of the Note9, and I want to run it on my pc. Does someone knows how?

tar is a compressed file and md5 is a method to mke sure that the file hasn't been messed with,uncompress it first to see what kind of file it is but my money would be on no you won't be able to run it.
