Is there a way to save a game in Mad Max?

I've found the empty slots apparently for saving the game, but after I select one slot it remains the same, nothing is written there.

Since I don't own the game, I had to resort to googling.
Game should do auto-save on almost anything or every 10 minutes or.. on said manual save.
Either you lack permissions to save the game to it's intended localtion which is unlikely (messed up install, reinstall?):
\Steam\”userdata”\38135736\234140\remote
or
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Documents\WB Games\Mad Max\Backup Saves

You could try it by downloading one of the "completion" saves off the internet and putting it to that backup saves folder to see if game CAN load saves, if not, following is more likely.

you don't have it on steam, implying you don't own the game.
