Btw, it's not that they didn't include a sensor, but instead they used 2-pin fan instead of 3-pin fan.
2-pin fan has two wires, +12V for power and ground. And it's speed is controlled by voltage. The more voltage is applied, the faster it spins. And software can tell how much voltage is being applied. Either by Volts or by Percentage.
E.g 50% = 6V, 100% = 12V and so forth.
3-pin fans have three wires, +12V for power, ground and 3rd one is to send RPM data back to the system. It is controlled and works exactly the same as 2-pin fan, by adjusting input voltage. And with 3rd wire, system can tell the fan RPM.
Overall, it doesn't matter if the RX 550 has 2-pin or 3-pin fan, as long as the fan works fine. Fan RPM is more like for the end user's ease of mind.
