Have some left over cash and my 6800XT still has good resale so I intend on upgrading to get better performances at 4K. After little research it seems that the 4070 Ti Super or 4080 is the best purchase in my price range (£500-600 on top of 6800XT sale) but I just wanted to gather some opinions on whether the prices are likely to drop with Prime day etc. I don't tend to hang around and fall into the trap of waiting for new generations just whether I should do a short hold before biting the bullet.

Thanks.

Prime day usually equals a couple items that are a good buy, these sell out quick other than that slow moving items usually not worth buying.

Video cards your probably not going to see on any real sell. Most of the time they jack up the prices on most items and then say it's a sale when in reality it's nothing you can't find on sell through the year.

Good to know, still very much learning the way pc parts fluctuate in price, will likely just bite the bullet on the card as £700 - £300+ from my current card for what I believe to be an 80% performance boost I think is pretty justifiable.

Thanks
