Is there any way to downgrade from windows 10 pro to home?

Just in case that linked procedure does not work...back up anything you do not wish to lose.
Back up on a different drive.
Just in case.

That 'downgrade' may work.
That link is from 2 years ago.
Procedures and options may have changed with Win 10.

Try it, but be prepared for a full wipe and reinstall.

plus the Pro version allows deferring or delaying Windows 10 updates, even blocking driver updates thru group policy.
no such options are available in the windows 10 home edition and there's nearly no way to stop force automatic updating in the home edition.

Yea but remember is a 100 dollars more, and is there actually no way to stop updates on windows home??

Actual OS updates? No.
And on Pro, you can only defer them. Up to 90 days, I think.

What license do you own, and if not Pro, why is Pro installed ont he system?

I pretty much did a newbie error and chose the version wrong, and also isn't it posible to cancel the windows update service and it wont bother anymore?

It's not really a good idea to attempt to turn off the Updates. They exist for a reason.

in recent versions of Win10 Pro, updates can be deferred/delayed up to 30 days - I know cause I have Win10 Pro FCU (fall creators update version 1709) installed on one of my other PCs and that option is available either thru Group Policy or in the Windows Update settings box. For "feature upgrades" (aka. newer builds of Win10), those can be deferred up to 1 full year (365 days).

OK, they've changed it.
It used to be 90 days.
