Is there anything about the Asus Z170-K that would stop me from overclocking the i5 6600k?

I want to potentially overclock my i5 6600K but not sure if this motherboard would hinder me from doing so, mainly because of how cheap it is. Don't really have a great understanding of motherboards as i haven't given them much thought before now. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z170-K/

Yes, it has. It is a "cheap" MB, so it will limit how much you will OC, but nothing to worry about. Check your temps (download Realtemp ou HWinfo) (above 80C is not good), use Vcore voltage up to 1,4V and try the highest OC you can get (use Intel XTU and Realbench to test the stability)
