Is there anyway to get two different ram modules two use duel channel?

I was wondering if I could use two different ram modules (same ram types) and get them to work in dual channel mode, would this be possible? The ram in question is ddr3 hyperX fury 1600mhz 4gb on a msi z97-G43 motherboard.
If anyone can help me thanks.

i tried putting my ram sticks in the dual channel slots but when i boot it either constantly resarts or dosent post

It's a 50\50 shot , sometimes they won't run , that's why best purchased in matching pairs.
