Is there anywhere I can buy the Hyper 212 backplate screws?

Is there anywhere I can buy the Hyper 212 backplate screws? You know; those little round screws you put on the back of the mobo to tighten the cooler? If not, I'll just buy another Hyper 212.

So can I replace those screws?

You can probably find replacements at the hardware store. They're not screws that are specifically made for CM (otherwise every cooler would cost $100).

Worse comes to worse you might have to contact Coolermaster (supprt@coolermaster.com) and see if they'll replace it under warranty or something.

Thanks man. Do the screws have a particular name or size? Just so I can know what to look for.

As long as you know the screws dimensions I'd go with what viet says and go to the hardware store. Theres a good chance they will have some that will fit just fine. I couldn't find their dimensions online but the manual that came with the evo should mention the dimensions I'd assume

Did some more research; apparently these things are known as "nuts". Now I just need to figure out the size.

Take the screw that the nut goes with and go to the hardware store.

You can talk to the people that work there and they'll help you out. It's better than breaking out the ruler and trying futilely to figure it out yourself.

Better yet, they might even let you test out different nuts to see which one fits the screw the best.

I think you're better off going to Home Depot or Lowe's, but that's just me.

Oh, you need nuts not screws haha, a hardware store will 100% have what your looking for. Bring the screws in and test them with the nuts. I don't suggest radioshack, they aren't a hardware store. A hardware store will have what you need no problem
