Is there a perceptible difference in speed between PC5300 (667) and PC6400 (800)? I'm running a HP MediaSmart Server (running Windows Home Server) and upgrading the RAM to 2 GB. It appears it can use either PC5300 (667) or PC6400 (800). I have a stick of PC5300 (667) with a CAS of 4 and a stick of PC6400 (800) with a CAS of 6. The stick of PC5300 is already in there and I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth it take it all apart again to put in the PC6400. Will I notice a real world difference?

Thanks

On a Core 2 Duo Hp a6177c with intel chipset g33 I think
would it be a noticeable difference to have pc6400 instead of pc5300?
I think the FSB is 1333 MHz -
also if i left any other pair of ram in there at pc5300
would the rest of the ram be able to run at pc6400
or does it ALL have to be the higher speed for things to run at the higher speed?
I know that RAM will be clocked down to lower speed if mixed but is that for any ram in the chasis or just the ram that is paired up?

Thanks,
Jeremy
