Hi,
So I'm building my very first system.
I just got all the parts come today in the mail.
So, I was taking the CPU out and getting ready to install it on the motherboard and I thought about thermal compound for a second.
I've seen them come before with a touch of geese already on it, but I don't think mine has. I have the Intel Corei5-750 CPU and a Gigabyte mobo - H57M.
Would it be alright to put it all together without some thermal compound (for now, until I get some...) Or do you guys NOT recommend this at all? I've only ever installed CPUs a couple of times and I remember them already being greased. Please reply asap.
