If should be able to play most demanding games at High. If you don't mind waiting for the 800 Series and maybe get the 860(if that's what it is called) then it will perform much more better and efficient. Have you considered an SSD? It will be a great option for gaming.

You have a CPU that can`t be overclocked, and a CPU cooler (not needed if not OC-ing), and an OC motherboard.
Do you want to OC your CPU, or not? This is a big question.

Also, get 2 sticks of 4 GB of RAM, for better speed due to dual-channel.

Based on your answer to this, and the place where you`re buying the parts from, we might be able to get you a better GPU.
 
2X4GB is a better choice then 1x8 because the CPU can process 2 sticks 'simultaneously', when you wish to upgrade you can add 2x4. You need to match the memory stiks, they usually come in the form of kits
