Is this 1200$ Build OK ?

Hello my friend wants to buy a new Gaming PC for 1200$.
So here what he wants ( Stock Build from E-Shop ).

CPU: i7-4790K UNLOCKED 4.0~4.4Ghz
RAM: Kingston 8GB 1866MHz DDR3 HyperX Fury Red (2x4GB)
HDD: 2000GB SATA3.0(6GB) 7200RPM
GPU: GTX 760 OC 2GB
Case: Aerocool Strike-X One
PSU: 600W ATX Silent 120mm
Motherboard: Store doesn't tell it, probably an terrible one.
Optical Drive: No Info
Coolers: Stock

Build Limit: 1200$ ( This one already reaches it ).
Any ideas what he could change/upgrade instead of buying this stock one ? ( I think it needs to be rebuilt from sratch except the CPU )

If you plan on overclocking you will want a better cooler. But it looks OK.

1. For that price get a premium motherboard i recommand the Maximus VII Hero

2. Always get ripjaws ram as they are more cheapo and reliable

3. Get 1tb of storage (or even 500gb)
2tb is too much

4. For the case get an 780t

Get a 970 (preferrably STRIX) for that price

For any high performance computer, spending more on a gpu than on a cpu is normal and often recommanded.

Dude I believe you should change the CPU to a lower i7 and put a 770 it should have better framerates or even if you can affor a 900 series GPU
