Hi,

I'm looking to build a cheap gaming rig, since i dont want to spend 1000€-2000€+ on a build just yet, while Cannonlake is just around the corner i wanna keep it cheap.

so i was looking at a 1336 build, which is pretty outdated.. but does its job pretty wel as seeing on several video's/benchmarks. especially for the price.

i might need help on this build,or recommendations.

here it is :

Total : $505.78 Without PSU.

Which should be 450€ When orderin from amazon.

i'm not sure if my optical drivers will fit in there since there is no 5' supported in the drivebay.. if i did read it correctly.

the only thing i would need is a PSU, probably around 600W?
i'm not sure about the psu, i tried PSU calculator, and it showed 550.

thoughts?

Thanks!

Im gonna save up for Cannonlake and skip skylake.
and i just checked the cpu cooler and : Versatile all-in-one mounting solution supports most Intel (LGA 2011 / 1150 / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 775) and AMD (FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2) platforms

so this should be good.

How do you mean exactly by the memory?
it can't be x2 2GB if i understand you correctly?
