Question Is this 4080 compatible with my PC build?

i just picked up the GIGABYTE EAGLE OC GeForce RTX 4080 from newegg and i was wondering if my current power supply and connectors will work or do i need anything eles? im mostly going to 4k game. i currently have a evga 3080 ftw3 any other compatibility issues?

Did you just buy that power supply or you've had it for a while? Because you are going to want to get another one most likely. 850w is cutting it very close for a 4090. Most recommendations are for at least a 1000w power supply and a lot of them are for 1200w to be sure to be able to account for the spikes it IS going to have.

And hopefully it is shorter than 412mm long, because that is the longest card your case supports.

The rest should be fine.

hi a 4080 not 4090. i got the psu on 4/26/2019 . can you recommend a powersupply from newegg that should work?
