Hi peeps,
Windows 10 isn't really ready for my system yet and I have chosen the option to revert back to Windows 7. So I've started the operation about 2 hours ago and all that is happening is it first boots up my system then shows the Windows 10 logo then it goes to a screen with text saying "Restoring your previous version of Windows". It has done this about 4-5 times already (which I think is normal) but after a few more reboots I noticed a blank window flash onto the screen then disappear followed by a flash of text "Attempting to recover installation" then it goes to "Restoring your previous version of windows". This has been going on for 2 hours and I'm getting worried, I'm willing to lose files/data as I don't have anything important on it I just want to know if this will end.

Thank you in advance.

Solution
5+ reboots seems excessive. If I were to guess, I would say something messed up.

If it doesn't stop, you may need to start fresh with a clean install of 10 (which really may address your issues with that OS), or 7.

Lets hope it works however...

I'm not sure if you would be able to recover if you booted from your Windows 7 media, and attempted to recover that way, I'm betting Windows 10 stuff will confuse the heck out of Windows 7 recovery.

But it may be worth the try depending on how important your data is...

Personally, after an issue like that, I would strongly advise a clean install, there is no telling what Windows has done to itself.
